Peace Out Hill Duff

I thought the last episode of Gossip Girl was one of the best in a while. First, Jenny got involved in some drug scenario and was “saved” by Chuck. Correct me if I’m wrong but this is the first episode this season where Blair and Chuck were never in the same scene. I thought that was pretty much the only flaw of the episode. I mean who doesn’t love seeing them together? Anyways, Jenny really pisses me off. She pretends like everything she does is a façade and deep down she’s a genuine innocent nice girl yet she wanted to do the drugs and was mad when Chuck disrupted her. I was SO disappointed when Tripp ruined the almost kiss between Serena and Nate. I have wanted the two of them to get together since the first season and I find it so annoying that it is getting put off once again! Can you think of a hotter couple? Furthermore, Hilary Duff has finally left GG. Anyone else relieved? I found her sort of annoying. Now that she is gone, Dan clearly is going to be trying to get Vanessa as best as he can. I don’t think it will be too hard for him though. Even though Vanessa claims she hasn’t liked Dan for years I am predicting that she still very much does have feelings for him. Do you think Vanessa and Dan will be together soon or do you think she is going to resist him?

P.S What did you think about Lady Gaga being on the show? I thought it was very One Tree Hill-esque of Gossip Girl to have a concert during the show.

In case you missed it, check out the Lady Gaga scene below:

Which Glee couple do you most want to see together?

Which Glee couple do you most want to see together? Click here to vote! I personally believe that Will and Emma should be together, they have alot more chemistry than Will and his wife. At the same time, I also obviously think that Finn and Rachel should be together. What a good looking couple!

Wanted! Who is the Attacker?

This holiday break I’ve been wasting no time. Because I had so much work to do last week I had barely anytime to watch tv. Therefore, I use my time at home to catch up on everything that I missed. Because I know so many people watch Desperate Housewives I figured if there were one show to catch up on and write about first, it’s that one. This past week’s episode was the Coffee Cup. In this episode, Susan gets sentenced to do community service for shooting Catherina, Gabby finds out Lynette is pregnant and tells Carlos, Bree continues her relationship with Carl but we get a glimpse at how she sort of misses her relationship with Orson. Lastly, some shady stuff goes on and a waitress gets strangled at the local coffee shop. There are many different predications as to who strangled the waitress. Firstly, I think whoever did it also strangled Julie. Although there are a bunch of people living on Wisteria Lane, it seems like whoever is attacking such young girls really must be a severe wacko. While it seems obvious that it could be Nick (the one who had the affair with Julie) I think that it is Angie. While she makes it seem like she is so nice (after all she covered up for Bree when Orson almost caught her having an affair), I happen to think that she gets very jealous of her husband when he flirts with other girls. Because she can’t divorce him for whatever reason (it seems like they are in the witness protection program or running away from something so they have changed their identity), she attacks the girls who her cheating husband flirts with. Who do you think attacked the waitress? Do you think it’s the same person who strangled Julie?

Watch below for a quick recap of the episode!

Sex Sells

•November 18, 2009 • 3 Comments

If people thought the orgy on Gossip Girl was bad, then I can only imagine what people are saying about the promiscuous activity on Melrose Place last night. There was a girl-on-girl make out session, sex on a kitchen counter and another scene with major undressing. I wonder if all this sex has anything to do with the not so good ratings. People always say sex sells and I think this is definitely what the writers had in mind this week. Overall, the whole episode screamed sex sex and you guessed it, more sex.

Believe it or not, there is someone who watches MORE shows than me…my roommate!! I decided to interview her because she has been very upset that she is yet to appear on my blog.

1) How many shows do you watch per week?
-  13 shows per week (not all on currently).

2) What is your favorite show and why?
-  My favorite show is Lost because it makes you think and come up with predictions, which is also what I like about shows like FlashForward and Desperate Housewives.

3) What websites do you use when you are behind on a show?
-   I use either Hulu or ABC.com.

4) What is your favorite night of television?

- My favorite night of television is Thursday night. Even though I love to wake up Friday morning and watch all of the shows from that night.
5) Where do you watch most of your shows?
- In the tv room of my sorority house.

6) Who is your favorite character on all of the tv shows you watch?
-  I love Kerev from Grey’s Anatomy. He is sooo good looking.

7) If you could be on any show, which one would you be on?

- I would want to be on the office because it’s so funny.

It’s Complicated With the Chief

•November 17, 2009 • 3 Comments

At the end of this past week’s Grey’s Anatomy we got a glimpse as to why the Chief has been more or less a raging bull. He has been making rash decisions and has been quite rude to almost everyone. We get a Why did he almost fire Derek? He was drunk. Why did he dismiss Izzie? He was drunk. Why did he get into a car accident? He was drunk. The chief? An alcoholic? This seems to stranger to be true, especially because despite all of his weird actions he seemed very composed. However, with the recent merge it is unsurprising that he would look to alcohol for help. I found the end of this episode to be a bit confusing because he asked the bartender for club soda but the bartender poured him straight up vodka. It as if the bartender is undercover and doesn’t care that he is basically advocating his disease (although he did ask for his keys to prevent drunk driving). Very weird.
